I’m doing some fund-raising, and I need your help.

Over the last few days, I have mentioned that I have been accepting more sketch requests. I never actually mentioned why, because I thought it was too personal of a thing. I still think that way, but I figure I’ll share a little bit to help my cause.

I have good a friend in Manila who lost nearly everything in a serious flood a month ago. Among the things he lost is his computer, which he uses primarily for work. I’m basically raising money to help him get a new computer. The man’s been a good friend of mine since I was really young, so I’m willing to offer up my own talent to help him out, by sketching to raise $1500.

To achieve that end, I’m offering sketches at a reduced rate.

9 x 12 sketches: Single character - $20 Two characters - $40 Three characters - $50

11 x 14 commissions: Single character - $40 Two characters - $80 Three characters - $100

All pieces will be in full-color or grayscale based on your preference.

Pre-payment is needed, so send payment with your request to this paypal address: patloika@aol.com. Be sure to mark it as a personal payment or gift to prevent the paypal surcharge, and make sure your address info is up to date.

Once I’ve achieved the target goal, I will not be accepting any commissions until next year. Thanks for your time, and I hope you can help me help a friend out! (and get yourself a sketch at the same time!)
